Community football and sports
We facilitate football coaching with our AstroTurf football pitch and MUGA. There are currently three teams based here and hundreds of young people benefit from these activities. We are currently looking to resurface our AstroTurf pitch to support community football and sports activities.
We also offer a number of martial arts, boot camp and general fitness activities, especially during school holidays and on Friday evenings.
United in Christ congregate every Saturday from 12 noon until late for their weekly programme in the hall. Over 70 people attend and benefit from this social activity weekly. There is also another church group who regularly meet every Sunday from 10 am to 5pm.
Secret Angels
Secret Angels are based at our centre where they provide support for local community members affected by joblessness, digital exclusion, domestic violence, abuse, and similar issues. They also offer emotional wellbeing and welfare support.
They provide food bank and clothes banks services and social activities throughout the week. They have supported many families through this work last year.
Network and community links
We host a vast array of family and community parties and individual events at our hall. e.g. Keep Fit, Zumba, Yoga/Pilates, Grow, Cook, Learn, Knit and Chat Club, Soft Play and Coffee Mornings.
